Uganda: Health Ministry to Open Up to Children With HIV

11th May 2010, Kampala — Children living with HIV/AIDS will now be told why they have to take ARVS.

This is in-line with the new curricular on HIV/AIDS counseling launched by the ministry of health recently.

The Project coordinator of Strengthening HIV counselor training programe, Teddy Chimura says this will reduce on cases of non adherence.

In the past Children with the deadly virus were not told why they taking the drugs.
