The Global Movement for Children moves to a new office

Barcelona, 22 November 2010 – The Global Movement for Children (the GMC) has recently moved to a new office in Barcelona, in the area called 22@. In recent years, 22@ has grown in significance becoming a home to many IT companies. 

The GMC is sharing the office space with different social entrepreneurs within the framework of ‘UpSocial!’ initiative, of which the GMC is a co-founder.

UpSocial! has been created understanding that there is no shortage of good ideas to change the world. They just need to acquire scale and cross the borders of the initial project. UpSocial! is a community of social entrepreneurs, consultants and organizations sharing knowledge and resources, learnings and inspiration to scale social innovations. Its purpose is to help scale local anecdotes to become real social transformations. UpSocial! stimulates cooperation through cross-fertilisation, open-innovation, problem-solving and experience-sharing sessions.
