The GMC opens new office together with a group of social entrepreneurs in Barcelona

Barcelona, 27 June 2011. The seat of the Global Movement for Children was officially inaugurated on June 16 with a round table on innovative solutions for today’s most pressing social ills.

Around fifty guests attended the event where GMC Executive Coordinator, Miquel de Paladella, was one of the panellists at the table and presented the Commitment to Children Audit, an innovative tool to advocate for child rights.

The 300m2 office is located in the new technology and innovation 22@ district in Barcelona, and it is shared with another fifteen social entrepreneurs, consultants, NGOs and international networks who wish to spark social change through social innovation.
