The Big Dream Campaign

Toybox has launched a new campaign called The Big Dream based around the dreams of street children and the Millennium Development Goals.Toybox asked the street children that we work with in Latin America what their hopes and dreams are for the future. They said they want to be safe, to graduate from high school, that their families would be healthy and have enough to eat. Ask governments to make these dreams come true by recommitting to the Millennium Development Goals is the core of the campaign. In September 2010, the UK government will be meeting with the leaders of the richest countries in the world to review progress towards these Goals.
The goal is to get at least 2015 people signed up to The Big Dream by September this year (to match 2015 deadline for MDGs). There will be a number of further actions that supporters can take. Toybox would like to get the message out further and reach even more people. With the support of the Consortium for Street Children and members this can be done.
Please sign yourself today, and pass it on to others to do the same!
