About this site

The GMC website provides organisations and individuals at local, national, regional and international levels the opportunity to engage in global and regional campaigns and to promote their own actions among an international audience. It actively encourages children, civil society, schools, universities, media and institutions to share information about campaigns and projects in favour of children and support of the Global Movement for Children.

Action orientated

The new GMC web site focuses on promoting campaigns advocating for child rights regionally and globally. Some of them are led directly by the GMC, others are led by its partners or other organisations committed to children. Overall, this site is a point of reference for all those willing to get actively engaged in promoting child rights.

Action is organized around the 10 imperatives. Under each of the 10 imperatives, you will find information of the selected campaigns, their objectives and how to get engaged.

Featured campaigns

This site regularly updates each featured campaign. We constantly receive information from across the world to allow you to get engaged where it is most relevant.

Key political processes

You will find updates on the most relevant international political processes and events affecting children globally. Our partnership with CRIN will also offer the most updated news to you on a daily basis.
