World's longest toilet queue

World's longest toilet queueThere’s a global crisis affecting 2.5 billion people, and it’s killing more children than malaria, HIV/AIDS and TB combined – the lack of access to clean water and basic sanitation.

The World’s Longest Toilet Queue was a mass mobilisation event and Guinness World Record attempt on World Water Day, bringing together thousands of campaigners from 80 countries across the world to demand real change.

The queues took place to demand action at the first ever High-Level Meeting on Water and Sanitation held in Washington DC in April. Take a look at this site for more information about what happened on World Water Day and how you can still take action and be involved. Go ahead and make a stand for sanitation and water!
